Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould formed the Chicago Art Silver Shop in 1912

Both the canoe and the sail are painted  with vivid designs using strong colors

I don't know how early they showed up on the plains

This is a well used classic Wasco sally bag with sturgeons and people woven in green or brown wool

1930's Small Woman's Concho Belt Polychrome It has been passed downThis is a charming old concho belt with a distinct rounded buckle, eight unique butterflies, and seven oval conchos. All of the silver pieces are artfully stamped. The buckle and the butterflies have stamped circles as distinct elements in their stamping. Forty or more years ago the original leather belt was replaced by a new subtly decorated leather belt. This is a really nice piece if one likes the look of the older Navajo silver. L. of belt 34";
